Welcome to the 76th Annual Northern Manitoba Trappers’ Festival
Tansi! Hello! I would like to extend a warm welcome to all visitors, dignitaries, dog mushers, competitors and spectators attending one of the longest running winter festivals in Manitoba.
I would like to acknowledge our partners, sponsors and volunteers who work extremely hard to bring you an annual showcase of traditions, culture, events, and competitions for all ages to enjoy.
While you visit Treaty Five Territory, you will experience the warm embrace of a welcoming community full of fellowship, smiles, hearty hugs and maybe a jig or two with the fur queens along your travels.
Make sure that you stop in at the Trappers’ headquarters, where you will get to view so many beautiful photos and learn about the rich history of our festival.
Northern Manitoba Trappers’ Festival is also the home of the World Championship Dog Races where dog mushers from around the world meet at our start line to race on one of the best dog race trails.
